Our second pitched roof insulation solution in the series is suitable for smaller rafters of 100mm of less. The solution starts off with a layer of SuperFOIL’s high performance SF40 insulation installed across the underside of your rafters with a cross batten to hold it in place. Following this up with a 35mm PIR type Foam Board insulation (such as an insulated plasterboard) achieves a U-value of 0.18 making this an ideal solution for both retrofit or conversion projects.
