Benefits of Loft Insulation

This short article has been created to explain why you should insulate your loft, as well as the benefits of doing so. We want to help you understand how important it is to insulate your loft, and how by making this investment, you can save money.

If you don’t have an insulated loft, then you could be losing a quarter of all generated heat – meaning that you’re not only losing warmth but money too.

Without high-quality insulation to keep your home warm in the winter, and cool in the summer, you’ll be spending more on energy bills to try and keep your property moderate the temperature.

How you choose to use the insulation will be dependent on your property, although there are several options to choose from:

  • Apply to a sloping roof
  • Use between/over rafters
  • Add at ceiling level between or over joints

Insulating your loft can have numerous benefits, and can be a great way to invest in your home. You can not only prevent heat being lost through the roof of your property – which will mean that you save money on utility bills, while also improving the U-Value of your home, helping to elevate the value of your property.

Utilising loft insulation can be a great way to increase the energy efficiency of your home, while also helping you to save money.
