Our fire-rated multifoil insulations, SF19FR and SFNC, feature a 3-in-1 design, providing insulation, a vapour control layer, radiant barrier, and an additional layer of fire protection. The SuperFOIL FR range delivers the same U-values as our standard Multifoil range and holds a ‘Class 0’ rating for BS 476, limiting their contribution to fire growth. Meanwhile, SuperFOIL SFNC has achieved the highest Euro class rating possible—A1, ‘Non-combustible.’

To comply with BR443 in Part ‘L’ of Building Regulations, specific approved thermal test methods are conducted. Thermal performance is confirmed through testing to BS EN ISO 12667, ISO 8301 by BBA (British Board of Agrément), a UKAS-certified body and internationally accredited laboratory. Furthermore, we hold a range of other accreditations to comply with UK, EU, and CE regulations, instilling added confidence and expediting your building application process.
In addition, SuperFOIL aids in reducing air movement (minimising heat loss through convection currents) and has radiant barrier properties (reducing heat transfer through radiation/solar gain), contributing to a warmer home in winter and a cooler one in summer.
