Paul, a contractor in Nottingham approached SuperFOIL looking for a lightweight insulation solution to help with a conversion project he was struggling with. The problem was that the original structure was not robust enough to support the weight of the traditional insulation needed to achieve building regulation requirements. As such he required a solution that achieved the required thermal performance and was also lightweight enough to avoid making time consuming and costly structural improvements.

SuperFOIL is up to 40% lighter than traditional insulations such as HD rigid foam board making SuperFOIL a great solution for conversions like Paul’s project. Being lightweight also makes SuperFOIL easier to work with and easier the transport and handle on site.
