We have a new neighbour at Boulder Business Park in Lincoln: Removals and logistics company, Ballards will now be offering self-storage services next door to our HQ.

The family-run company has 188 self-storage containers for people and businesses to store their belongings, just a short drive from Lincoln city centre.

Our parent company, Boulder Developments is partnering with Ballards to bring the service to Lincoln and we’re also offering warehouse and office space for businesses.

Better yet, we’ve made sure that you can safely and securely use the new self-storage service while social distancing as part of the coronavirus lockdown.

Alongside Ballards, our sister company, Boulder Storage is offering secure warehouse and office space on our business park. This warehouse storage is ideal for businesses which need to scale up their operations or stockpile product and the office space offers great facilities in an accessible city location with superfast broadband.

Ballards is the seventh company to move onto Boulder Business Park since our parent company bought it, reinvigorating an important area of the city. Previously, the five acre site was a food distribution centre for Lincolnshire Co-op which was closed in 2017.

Since we took over, it’s become the headquarters of Boulder Developments, Ventilation Magastore, Boulder Storage and, of course, SuperFOIL. We’ve also been joined by Polish food distributor, Spizarnia and web development agency, Orisel.

A family business bond

As a family business which was also founded in Nottinghamshire, we have a lot in common with Ballards.

The company, which is based at Markam Moor near Newark was founded in 1978 and it provides domestic and commercial removals, secure storage solutions, van hire and haulage.

Ballards now one of the longest established and most well-respected removals and logistics companies in the East Midlands – and it operates across the continent.
